Thirty years is how we bring those numbers down. Chances are we have seen your problem before, so we work out what is actually wrong quickly instead of guessing at it. And however unusual the part turns out to be, we already know who to call, so you spend less time searching and fewer days waiting.
We know what an idle machine costs, because we have spent a career on the other end of that phone call. Getting you moving again, fast, is not a side benefit of what we do — it is the entire job!

Typical time15 to 30 minutes
An independent valuation for an insurer or a lawyer, and testimony that holds up when it is questioned. We weigh how the equipment should work, how it should have been delivered and cared for, and what condition has really done to its worth.
Typical time2 to 4 hours
We research the original part to find non O.E.M. options, or work with our partners to design and fabricate a replacement. From an old dozer part to your mother in law's out of service vacuum cleaner.

Solutions Expert
John Dressendofer
John founded Direct Equipment Parts in 1994 and still answers the phone. Thirty plus years built the network: salvage yards, rebuilders, dead stock, and machinists who can make a legacy part.
He has been in equipment parts since 1983: a New Jersey dealer first, then in-house for one of the region’s largest contractors, where he learned to turn a “can’t do” into a Can-Do.

1
The problem is more than just a part.
2
You don’t know the part numbers or you can’t find your part.
3
You are down on manpower, to find, pickup, deliver, and fix the equipment.
Have a look. If the answer is not obvious, that is exactly what we are for.

Bring us the machine nobody can sort out, or just the shelf you have never had time to restock fully. Either way the consultation is risk free; it costs you nothing if we cannot find you a solution.
